Old fashion sage to cook with and more. Wonderful smelling dried sage leaves for your pillow or tea. Cut leaves and stems (pieces are small). Fill the room with this wonderful aroma. Makes a tea for sore throat and mouth. This is not white sage.

Thujone (sage contains this) is toxic in excess amounts. It can cause convulsions and reduce breast-milk production.
Thujone can also trigger epileptic seizures. Do not take essential oil during pregnancy. Pure sage oil should not be ingested or applied full strength to the skin. The herb can interact with anticonvulsants, disulfiram, insulin, and other diabetic therapies.
